EUROPEAN BISON SHOW FARM IN PSZCZYNA
Zwierzyniec, also known as the Wild Promenade Park, houses the European Bison Show Farm, where you can enjoy watching these majestic Europe's largest mammals.
The European Bison Show Farm in Pszczyna, which is located in Zwierzyniec, part of the park surrounding the Pszczyna Castle, is not only a place where you can admire these remarkable animals up close. It is primarily a thoughtfully landscaped area – both visitor and animal friendly. The best vantage point in the Show Farm is the balconies (which are also adapted for the disabled, with elevator access to the top).
Besides the bison, you can meet there, among others:
- red deer,
- diamond pheasant,
- Indian peacock,
- mouflon,
- fallow deer,
- moose,
- Egyptian goose.
An interesting educational path has also been designed there, providing the opportunity to discover many interesting facts about both animals and the visited area. Moreover, there is a museum and educational venue in the park, where nature classes are hosted. Visitors also have the opportunity to watch a 3D movie in a small 42-seat screening room.
The Zwierzyniec area also includes a golf course.
